REP and Maidsafe do not belong on that list at all. You're also missing one of the biggest blockchains about to be released, ARDR. Steem should on the list as well. The rest look okay. Unfortunately can't give this list a thumbs up.

I'd prefer to count all coins, rather than just circulating supply, which I think is misleading. Accounting for all coins to be released you have a top ten as follows:

  1. Bitcoin
  2. Ripples XRP
  3. Ethereum
  4. Veritaseum
  5. Litecoin
  6. Gnosis token
  7. EOS
  8. Ethereum Classic
  9. Stellar
  10. DASH

As you can see there's a bit there that are... overvalued. ETH tokens have some pretty ridiculous prices, and I think coinmarketcap has a lot to answer for with how it's misleading people.

Good points in this article. I fully understand what you're talking about. It's surprising how much uneducated investors the crypto space has. You still see people invest in this shady and scammy coins. We do need more indept investment analysis. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com This site lets you check investment stats, And does a complete background analysis for every single coin. That's tradable on the market.
