Thyng and Reality Clash Bring Augmented Reality to BLMP

The BLMP Network’s partners include a range of companies and publishers, including video games. Recently, Thyng and Reality Clash joined the platform, bringing their respective augmented reality games and audiences to increase the technologies accessible through BLMP.

Thyng is an augmented reality authoring app which makes it possible for users to create their own AR experiences. The app includes ARKit, so you can not only build AR worlds, but also add 3D objects, photos and videos. Users can walk around worlds they create and view their personal media in new and exciting ways while making various objects such as logos, signs and products come to life within the virtual environment. The app currently has 50,000 monthly active users and counting as it’s updated and expands its library of features.

Reality Clash is the first augmented reality FPS (first person shooter) for mobile which is backed by the Ethereum blockchain. The game is free to play and allows players to interact with friends, join teams and plan battles in various locales such as parks, urban areas and so on. The gameplay concept is similar to Pokémon Go, but with weapons, vastly different graphics, and a FPS gameplay model.

Augmented reality is one of the most exciting developing technologies out there, and combining it with video games puts these companies ahead of the curve. This makes them joining BLMP an exciting prospect for gamers and fans of AR alike as they can look forward to the benefits the platforms offers and the opportunity to both purchase licensed virtual goods and connect with players from other gaming communities.
