Facebook 8 & Augmented Reality

So Facebook's next best bet is AR or Augmented Reality.

It wasn't long ago that Facebook decided to experiment with it's userbase en masse.

For those who missed out on Zuck's experiment in the humane, in 2012 Facebook decided to depress nearly 1M of it's users by altering how their feed was presented to them on their Facebook Homepage. A narcissistic Investigation of 'emotional congtagion'.

I suppose Facebook thinks we've forgotten about that. And they won't perform a Social Contagion 2.0 Experiment again in an Augmented Social Space? not Facebook surely?

We trust Zuck ....

Thankfully, it'll be the advent of platforms like Steemit, Mastodon and Status.im that will ensure no such mass manipulation happens again.

With autonomy and subscription given back to the public at large, it will be us who decides what flies and what dies.

We trust ourselves ...
