Feindstein and duty

Feinstein: The Supreme Court did uphold the law, the ACA and now the Attorney General is saying we will not defend it regardless. It seems to me that is a problem, it seems to me that is a problem. if something is duly passed and upheld as legal that the Attorney General has a duty to defend it.

Me: The People elected the President and now the Congress is saying we will not defend work with him regardless. It seems to me that is a problem, if a President is duly elected then the Congress has a duty to work with him.

There are three branches of government

  1. Congress makes the laws
  2. The Supreme Court evaluates the laws
  3. The Executive enforces the laws

If the Executive has no choice in what it enforces, then why does it exist as a separate branch? If it has no choice it is simply the enforcement arm of Congress. But that's not how are system works. We have checks and balances. If your law sucks lady, we aren't going to enforce it. Case closed, go next door to sling your cheap ass wares.
