When in Atlanta, a must-stop is Max Lager’s at 320 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, GA. The food is amazing from the ribs to the jaw dropping deep fried cheesecake.  This dessert is mind-blowingly awesome and you've got to share it because it's way, way too much for one person alone. I always tell people about this place and it doesn't get enough credit for the place to go in downtown Atlanta.
