Formar PM of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee passes away
Formar prime minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away today 16th Aug 2018. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was 10th Prime minister of India and first non-congress leader who completed 5 years term as PM of India.
He was nominated for 3 times as prime minister, the first for 15 days in 1996, the second for 13 months from march 1998 to April 1999 and the third for 5 years from 1999 to 2004.
Atal bihari vajpayee was born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on the Christmas day in 1924. His father name was Krishna bihari vajpayee who was a school teacher and a poet.
Atal bihari vajpayee first came in contact with RSS in 1939 in Gwalior through Arya kumar sabha and completely involved in indian politics in 1942 when he joined the Quit india movement.
He joined Bhartiya Jan sabha in 1951, the party Shyama prasad mukharjee founded which laid the foundation of Bhartiya Janta Party also popularly known as BJP. Atal bihari bajpayee passes away today and he is survived by his adopted daughter Namita and granddaughter Niharika.
