This is beautiful @yidneth - not only are the pictures sublime but you've given us a run down of the history of the place, which really makes the post. Europe has so much history and I love the ruins everywhere. Australia too has its fair share of abandoned places but it's a totally different feel and story - I really need to go out and take some photos and tell about ruins from an Australian perspective!
