Hello friends..

This is inside of one of the bit of Hampi ruins. Hampi is a historical place in India (Karnataka) and is one of the most impressive sites to visit in India.

Hampi is a 14th century Vijayanagara Empire and was the capital of Vijayanagar. Kings built Dravidian temples and palaces which won the hearts of travelers between the 14th and 16th centuries.

Now in ruins, Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed as the Group of Monuments at Hampi.

It has got many beautiful monuments and is a historically rich temple town.

5 Deccan Sultans called Bidar, Bijapur, Ahmednagar, Golconda and also Berar attacked Hampi in 1565. Which resulted in a massive destruction. This led to destroy many temples monuments and many are still buried deep in the ground.

So there are many monuments destroyed as shown in the above photograph which are abandoned and still excavation is going on..
