Abandoned Shit Photo Entry.

This old cedar strip canoe was found on our cabin lot that we had purchased 3 years ago, along with the building and many other items that were left abandoned for over 20 years.
Imagine how beautiful this canoe would have been back in its prime?!?!
I would one day love to own a cedar strip canoe.

I did not expect a canoe to fall apart that much.

Where it sat, it had the full effect of the elements; sun, rain, snow

I have seen how those things are made, it is a time intinsive feat! Sad to see such hard work in that shape.

it is sad to see for sure....if it was in any way repairable I would have been all over try to fix it!

how is a cedar strip canoe different from a normal one?

cedar strip canoes are much lighter, can carry a heavier load, easier to repair, have a quieter ride and they are aesthetically more pleasing.

ohhh.... or just buy a plastic one XD. i put a story up, tear it apart bro XDDD
