The remains of the ruins of the building were damaged by the earthquake
Hi all Steemians. How are you today?
The photo below is the remains of the ruins of a heavily damaged house in Serempah Village, Central Aceh District, Aceh Province, due to the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in July 2013.
The location is the center of the earthquake that almost drowned the village.
Although it has been nearly 5 years, the local government has issued a ban to re-establish the buildings around the site, due to its unstable soil texture, and feared to return to landslides during rainy season, or when the earthquake occurs again.
For new settlements, local authorities have provided more secure land for building structures.
Until now, there are still many rubble debris scattered around the site, especially the rest of the building that can not be reused.
Surely behind the calamity, there is a hidden wisdom that we do not know. And that is God's secret. May we all remain in His protection. Amen.
