Grave In the Pond || Graveyard Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest

This grave we found in the village Gampong Jawa, Banda Aceh - Indonesia. We suspect it belongs to the nobility of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam. A great empire before any country of Indonesia. This Gampong Jawa is a village close to the ocean. This cemetery is located in a pond, a place to keep the brackish fish that is close to the ocean (Indian Ocean).

When the tide rises, this grave will be drowned by sea water. People are passing by in this pond, but they do not care about this grave. Tombstones as in this grave spread throughout Aceh, Indonesia. Even in Melaka, Malaysia.

Usually on the headstone there is writing in Arabic that explains who the owner of the tomb. But at this grave, the text can not be read anymore because it was covered by the coral, as submerged with salt water from the ocean.
