My name is Samuel obot an indigin of oron home town (uyah oron) in in Akwa Ibom state Nigeria.
I want to flash back to my previous vocation.
As an indigin of oron the commonly job/work we do to earn a living fishing, and we have our own ways of fishing, and the Materials used
1: canoe
Theses are some examples of boats/canoes use;
2: fishing net.
Some examples of fishing nets use,
3: Hooks
Examples are as follows:
Fishing in a river requires you to think where fish will seek refuke from current and predator consider areas where there's structures along the bank such as sunken trees or overhanging brand but don't forget that there are plenty of spots in the river that will hold fish.
The best fishing river offers a multiple structures that only offers protection from current and predators, but serves as ideal spots game fish to ambush.
We use this fishing tips to locate fish in different areas of the river
In fishing there are types of fishing net likely use
1: the two fingers net ;
This type of net is use in catching fish of small size depending on how the whole/eye of the net is.
2: four fingers net as we likely called
This net as the name implies, its wholes are large and this type of nets are used in catching big fishes like
Macarel, shark, catfish ect.
I also use hooks in fishing hooks are used by putting it on it rope and you will put the fish feed then through it inside the river so when fish see it the feed will attract them to the hook so when they tried taking the feed then the hook will hold them so you drag it out.
As a matter of fact there are some hooks that are magnets, we call it in our own name MARRY-MARRY this type of hooks are magnet, they draw fish from far and near to the hook, here are the hooks am talking about
Conclusion
The main reason why I wrote on this article is that I'm trying to flash back to my previous vocation ie job before becoming a student .
Fishing pays alot it depends on how skillful you are on the proffession, it needs your appropriate commitment & patient.
I really cherry that proffession that is why I do like others to learn from my experience
