I don't think it's a sign of intelligent life although I think intelligent life outside the earth does exist. I think we have been fortunate enough to discover a laser of a radiation of some type we didn't know that exists of probable phenomena we haven't discovered yet. That if you ask me, it's much more exciting, but that's because I'm a real science geek.
