If you look at the sky at night, you can almost see it, it's the Moon. The only natural satellite that orbits around the Earth. But do you know what the moon and its most curious data are? I have spent all my life reading and looking for information about the universe, and the moon is one of my favorite natural satellites, due to its proximity to the earth it is quite easy to photograph, and since man exists it has always been there, as floating in the night sky. Did you know that it influences many aspects of our lives?

For a long time it has been believed, and still partly believed, that the Moon has a great influence on terrestrial life. It was believed, for example, that it could work on the minds of men, directly provoking misfortunes: even today, in fact, the word "lunatic" is used in this sense.

It was thought that the Moon influenced time, hair growth or the life of plants (farmers still believe it, and maybe they are not completely wrong). The only one that has been scientifically proven is that the Moon influences the tides of the Earth's seas. So there is no research scientific basis to affirm all this, but often these beliefs are strong and the influence of the moon is very real for many.
