India is starting to conquer the cosmos. In September they will land on the moon.
In China's inspiration, the second most populous country in the world is developing its space program at an unprecedented pace. Ambitious plans concern not only the Earth's orbit, but also the Moon, Venus and Mars.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will send the Chandrayaan-2 mission to Silver Globe in July. It will consist of an orbiter, lander Vikram and a rover named Pragyan. On Earth's orbit, the devices will be picked up using the GSLV Mk III rocket. According to the plan, the lander will rest on the surface of the Moon on September 6 and together with the rover will start exploring this object.

ISRO reports that the Pragyan rover, during its 14-day mission, will pass several hundred meters after the surface of the planet's natural satellite. Researchers are going to take thousands of pictures of the moon with it and make important measurements. It's no secret that India is getting ready for the first manned flight that could take place in the second half of the 1920s.

Before this happens, ISRO is planning to send the first astronauts to Earth's orbit in 2022. This year was not chosen accidentally. Then the 75th anniversary of India's independence will take place. If everything goes according to plan, the country will join the elite countries of the world that have sent their citizens into space.

The Indian Space Research Organization has a ready plan for the first flight. During its duration, three astronauts, two men and one woman, will take a flight to orbit, at a height of about 400 kilometers, in a 3.7-ton capsule called Gaganyaan. A cosmic adventure will last 7 days and is to be a foundation for the implementation of much larger cosmic plans.
