Astrology July 9 2018. Messages from the Abyss.

The Eclipse abyss portal deepens today as Jupiter stations to turn direct at 13 21' Scorpio. He was last at this degree on Dec 12th 2017 and turned retrograde on March 8 2018 at 23 13' Scorpio. He won’t reach his retrograde degree until Oct 6th.

What has shifted in your life since March 8th? Where in your natal chart has Jupiter been retrograding?

For me this is in my tenth house of career/contribution and shortly after Jupiter turned retrograde I got approached by a publisher to write my first book. The final edits are due on Tuesday as Jupiter turns direct and publication is due in October after Jupiter moves out of shadow.

I keep telling you that you can’t make this shit up.

There is, however, a real sense of staring into the abyss in this energy as we wane to the Eclipse on the 12th/13th.

Jupiter makes a square to Mercury over night Sunday/early morning for some and Mercury is also active as the Moon moves into Mercury ruled Gemini and Venus moves into Mercury ruled Virgo before the Jupiter station.

Expect some deep information to be excavated over the next few days especially with the Eclipse opposing Pluto, ruler of Scorpio, in Capricorn.

The Chandra symbol for the station degree reflects the depths of this energy:

Women dressed in black. They are wailing and mourning.
Darkness, heaviness, sobriety, grimness. Grief for lost worlds. Dramatically cleansing what must be let go. Freeing the spirit. Laboriously and intensively preoccupied with endings, and captivated by the past, you are fascinated with the decomposition of things. Living deep in the unconscious, inside collective dramas. Lost to yourself. Thrown into patterns, syndromes, worlds that require drastic measures to transform. A feeling of being cursed. A sensibility of doom. A creation of the worst inside. The long established, deeply ingrained consciousness of stark limitation. Getting under it and destroying it the long hard way.

There’s a deep cleansing and transformative energy in the abyss but it’s not s fun and light.

Pay attention to what is being unearthed for you and do the work to cleanse your life of outdated patterns and energies.

You may hardly recognize yourself by the time the Eclipses are over, especially by the end of summer.
