What kinda world do we live in now? True Story.

I was just minding my business and things related to my ordeal and this story came up to my ears, a young boy who were suppose to be pursuing his passion for music to become a music composer is now "brain-dead" and lying in hospital. 

18 years of age, soft spoken and gentle type is the characteristic which best described the victim.  He was assaulted by group of six teenagers who is also former schoolmates of his. He is now fighting for his life at the ICU in a hospital near Penang, Malaysia. Not only this boy was assaulted, he was molested and the bully used a blunt object to be inserted into the victims anus. His genitals was also twisted.  By listening to this, it just destroyed his mother.

Its really hard to read the news after knowing how would the whole situation been for the single mother who fought all her life to give life to this little one to grow and find bliss in life. She would have hope that one day this boy would pursue his dream and make all the misery and pain go away. But its was a sudden misfortune which turn the table around. 

How can anyone act towards another man kind with such brutality and barbaric action? I am a father my self , i am all shivering listening to all this and i have a 1 year old kid growing with me. How can i ensure the safety of my kid that he is not threaten by bullies of some sort. What mechanism of protection can we implement to eradicate such behavior?

All i can think now is self-defense is a need , least the basic could safe them. Its its wrong for someone to touch you without your permission. I'm not sure what are the inputs from others outside , but i guess self-defense is one mechanism which can protect them at one point. This kid would have not notice the danger which is approaching him, he would have neglected his bully from day one , but the danger was following him all this while. 

We cannot monitor the whole world from one standpoint , but what we can do is teach the young one to defense them-self from danger. If this boy was to have some sort of martial-art knowledge or self-defense , he would have be alive and pursuing his life.  I am praying for you  Nhaveen , im not sure where you are from and which family you reside on, but a human being..i swear Karma will punish these bullies soon. I hope there is miracle and may all the miracle work on you from now on.
