How will this site scale with more users (+100,000)? What are the safeguards that ensure general usability.

in #ask-steemit8 years ago (edited)

In terms of organization, regulations, moderation, servers, and general usability?

  • Can I post anything and everything?
  • What are the limits? Who will limit this? How?
  • How will this be able to scale to the size of reddit and beyond?

What prevents this site/concept to not attract the scum of the internet who are willing to whore, lie, cheat, spam, click bait, or deploy any other dubious methods and ruin this network?

  • What incentive or deterrent does someone have not to "Repost" or even plagiarize?
    -- Spam
    -- sexual or financial whoring
--botting the network for likes, momentum, exposure, etc

Relatively new. I am currently reading the post about cheetah bot and the general steemit thread
Can go into and suggest broad answers with links to more details?

Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 5.9 and reading ease of 76%. This puts the writing level on par with Jane Austen and JK Rowling.
