My first visit in Buddhism temple

in #asia6 years ago

Fourth the biggest world religion is Buddhism . Although Buddhism is considered as a religion but there is no faith in the God - who creates everything .. or someone who creates the world , and looks more like philosophic doctrine .
The main goal - the contemplation of the spirit within himself. It preaches a middle way, without extremes - austerities and pleasures. Only by knowing oneself one can attain enlightenment and a supreme state - Nirvana.
Maybe too similar to Hinduism. But Hinduism accepted excitante of some God who creates everything .
Buddhism is preaches the equality of all social strata of society, while Hinduism establishes a rigid social inequality of people - a division into castes.
I never have been before in Buddhism temples and it was one of my old dream to see by own eyes holy places of Buddhism.
On the North of Vietnam not vary far from the small village situated on the distance more than 80 kilometres from Hanoi (the capital of Vietnam ) , we have found Buddhism complex - temple with some other buildings , including houses for believers who arrive here for celebration some important religious fiestas .
The temple is very old - it was built at 7-8 centures . The main material is wood . New parts was built with stones . We didn’t find there people at all , and as we understadn from attendants of the temple - foreign people here is a big rarity , so they were very happy to see us and showed to us everything .
As the one of priest explined to us that Vietnam has so difficult and old system of religion faithes and very difficult religious rules which you even will not find in classic Buddhism . That is why sometimes people there answer that they are not Buddhisms. But all their services they make in Buddhism temples .
Ok Asia it is another world . The main rule of Asia - don’t try to find some logic ..just accept everything like it is ))))
During my trip there I heard so many nonsenses that Buddhists who do not consider themselves as Buddhists maybe is not very complicated for understanding now ))))
In the end I want to tell that I really was very happy to visit this place and maybe I am more happy that we get opportunity to visit really some very old and not touristic place to see the life as it is )))

Thank you for all the photographs! This place looks so charming. I would love to visit a temple like this too sometime.

I hope one day your dream come true

I am Vietnamese, living near the city of Hanoi. Thank you to a foreign visitor to visit the temple in Vietnam ❤️

Lovely country hospitable people delicious food ❤️🌺🌹

🤗🤗🤗

Wow, great post, mate! This temple differs a lot from temples here in Thailand, where I am living for 5 years now. I think Buddhism is the smartest religion to choose as it doesn't force you to do anything and it doesn't threaten you at all. Like others saying that you will go to hell or something even worse, if the God doesnt like you. In Buddhism just being kind to everyone and mostly in your heart is more than enough. Glad that you visited such a beautiful place as your first Buddhist temple! Following you now, cheers :)

As I understood here is not “clean” Buddhism .. maybe that is why as you said : temples are diffrent a lot .. I wish to visit Thailand too )))

Amazing traveling photography...i think you enjoying your travel✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈

Always enjoy ))) travels are my passion 💛🌹

Great article and nice photography . hope to see you such kind of post.

Thanks you 🌺🌹🙂
