Inking | #1
Those who know me are aware of the fact that I rarely feel safe or comfortable enough to straight speak about the stuff that weighs me down, even if they aren't directly related to the listener.
Since shortly after I joined Steemit, I have been on a constant search of activities that work as therapy for me (yes, blogging can be one of them, if done right). For example, during these few months of a healing process, with its ups-and-downs, I have been pointed out and noticed myself that writing in another language makes things easier.
Having given this short introduction, I would like to talk about a hobby I have always enjoyed and that now is almost a necessity from time to time. It turns out that when drawing and coloring, I get to breathe better, relax and focus on something far from my problems. Concentrating on the inking, filling the gaps, choosing the proper colors, helps me to leave my mind sort of blank at least for a while.
Here is the first of this Inking series, which I made a few days ago. I would very much like to read your thoughts on it: did you like it? what would you change? do you have similar interests? See you in the comment box!

Ohh I like it :D.
And it's so great that you made a black dot as a tear, I think that adds a lot of character to the picture because it's no longer a symmetrical perfection which is while good can also be less impactful.
You should draw and colour more if they are helpful to your psyche :).
Thank you @scrawly! Yes, I'm usually very picky about symmetry, but this time I thought it was a nice detail. Breaking the law once in a while haha
Love your use of color Zoe. And the Owl is really cute. You gotta make more of these! Drawing to me is like meditating, helps a lot!
Thank you, Gaby! I'll surely continue to do this kind of things :D
