Time expands

We have this Parkinson's law stating that "work expands" as to fill the time available for its completion...meaning that if you give yourself a week to complete a two hour task, then the task will increase in complexity and become more daunting so as to fill that week.

I'm not sure that my visual motion-art piece here will be of much help for understanding, but at least I tried...
