☆ "A Winter idyll" ☆
Hello, dear Steemians! ☆
I wanted to show you my art piece. This is my painting- "A Winter idyll". ☆
This snowy landscape I painted for my brother as a gift for moving into a new apartment in Germany, and also as a gift for my gratitude for him to inviting me to his flat on vacation. He wanted Autumn or Winter landscape, I chose Winter for him.
This is the process:
From 10pm to 3am I was painting this, it was fastest painting that I ever done. I was using temperas instead oil colors, I think that result is not bad at all and at the end I finished by spraying that it used as cover and it gave it nice glow. I used thin brushes and painting trowel. Size of canvas is 30x30cm.
Even though portraits are in what I'm good at but I must admit that landscape painting became really interesting to me. Tomorrow morning this painting is going to Germany.
