Jumanji Caricature

A piece I've been working for the last couple of evenings is a caricature of Dwayne Johnson's and Kevin Hart's characters form latest Jumanji movie.
Pretty enjoyable movie about couple of teenagers being sucked into a jungle-themed video game with a mission to save the in-game world in order to be let out back into real world. The source of most gags comes from the fact that teenagers got assigned with game-characters completely different than their real selves (eg. nerd becomes the beefed-up archeologist) - not very original, but it serves the part :)
I know you're dying to take a look at production process step-by-step so here it is ;)

Poniższą pracę męczyłem przez kilka ostatnich wieczorów - jest to karykatura postaci granych przez Dwayne'a Johnson'a i Kevina Harta w najnowszym filmie Jumanji.
Całkiem przyjemny film o grupie nastolatków, którzy zostali wessani do rozgrywającej się w dzungli gry wideo, a warunkiem wydostania się z niej jest wypełnienie zadania i w konsekwencji ocalenia całej rzeczonej dzungli. Żródłem większości gagów jest fakt, że postacie jakie gra przydzieliła naszym nastolatkom kompletnie nijak mają się do ich rzeczywistych osobowości (np. Nerd zostaje archeologiem o wyglądzie kulturysty) - mało oryginalne, ale robi robotę.

Wiem, że nie możecie się doczekać żeby rzucić okiem na screeny z procesu produkcji, więc proszę ;) :

new layer set to "multiply" for blocking in the shadows on characters:

the shadows on background and additional background:

then everything topped with new layer ("color") an flat-colored on that layer - co all the lineart and shadows are visible-through:

Then added some details and added some changes in the background color (thanks Kazejin for tips) and voila, Finished product.
