Mermaid Monday Contest Week #2 [Mermboy] entry

Mermaids have been one of the reasons of mysterious tales from sailors. Human-like creatures emerging from the bottom of the ocean seem like hallucinations from the weeks and months of being trapped in a ship in the middle of the ocean, away from civilization or maybe not so.

For some, these half-human, half-fish creatures are fascinating to the extreme of being fanatics no matter the age group, from children to adults. They became the story of books, cartoons and even movies. Mermaids are one of the mythological creatures that will keep capturing peoples' imaginations for years to come.
