9-Beads Cherry Wood Necklace

Last week while traveling from Rijeka to Rab by speedboat, I had 2 h free so I decided to use it productively & I created another #accessory, another unique piece of #jewelry:

Every late winter & early spring, I crop fruit trees & save the thicker branches. I peel off the bark from the branches & let them dry in the basement. After few months, when they are completely dry, I cut them in pieces & work on them a bit more & drill through them. In the end, I paint them with linseed oil & again leave them to dry. The final work is left for setting the beads on the rope...

It’s possible, the same thing happens to me sometimes man—don’t trip. I dump a bunch of soul into something and it doesn’t get very far and other times I put together something quick and it’s appreciated way more than I imagined—it happens. Just roll with it, I really like this article—thanks for tagging #artzone.

Me, personally, if I was creative enough to make a necklace out of trees, I may consider tagging #artzone, #art, #steemit, #blog, #adventure.
