In Ukraine, it is often possible to meet people with Japanese tattoos, I think it was even fashionable, especially the carp picture is especially common. Although I also saw an image of an sakura, a samurai, a dragon.
In a tattoo, I usually use Eternal Tattoo Ink. USA paint. It holds the color well, does not turn pale and does not burn out in the sun. One session is captured on the photo, it took me about 6 hours.
Tattoo of the Japanese dragon, above all, means well-being, intelligence, positive energy and protection. This "tattoo" brings good luck and symbolizes a long life, wisdom and fearlessness.
