7th ARTstyleART : FAUVISM+LANDSCAPE // original work by @oceansoul//

Hi my dear Steemians,

finally i found some time to make my entry for this contest created by my dear @aksinya.

This week's theme is FAUVISM + LANDSCAPE so I present you my painting:

I hope I understood right what Fauvism is all about, you be the judge to that @aksinya.

This is my first time trying out this art style combination. It's interesting how when I learned in school about Fauvism I taught I got it completely but now, when it was up to me to create a painting in that style, it was completely different experience.

I use this picture below that I took 2 years ago when I was on my AiKiDo seminar, but I didn't want to copy everything, I just wanted to look at it for an inspiration and some basic composition.

And now I'd like to show you the process of making this painting.

First I layed down a basic pencil sketch.

Then I started painting with acrylics. First color pallet was ocher and the lighter and darker version of it.

Then I mixed to shades of green using yellow and blue colors.

Done with green, let's start painting rocks, mountains in the background, sea and the sky.

Tadaaaaam! Finished!
