Entry for Artstorm Contest #40 - 'Lost at Sea'
My digital art entry for the Artstorm contest today found HERE.
I should really be sleeping right now, but... c'mon it's only another 15 minutes, right?
Inspired by the master Gary Larson who published a similar strip in The Far Side. Except instead of a porcupine it was a bunch of people in an inflatable raft that came across a floating chest. I think the caption was something like, "Well we may as well bring it aboard although I don't see what use we have for a chest full of broken glass, throwing darts and (something else sharp, I forget....)
Poor porcupine!
HA HA THIS IS HILARIOUS! Thanks for the laugh❣️
I don't know this series.
The Far Side? Used to appear in a lot of newspapers just as a single panel comic. It was brilliant. Highly recommend looking up a few. There are probably... 20 years? maybe of strips.
Newspapers in the UK?
Oh. Maybe not. :)
Here's a FB page with a bunch of old cartoons: https://www.facebook.com/TheFarSidePage/
