My entry for Artstorm Contest #20 Day 1 - Theme Today - At the Zoo.
I chose for this entry the harpy eagle or as it is known in Venezuela águila arpía. One of the most powerful eagles and, in Venezuela, it is the largest species.
In those moments, it is found in the category of vulnerability due to its low reproduction rate. in need of large extensions of habitat, they make it fundamentally vulnerable to the destruction and fragmentation of the habitat. It is also hunted frequently out of fear or out of curiosity. Its claws are coveted as a trophy.
We must protect our animals remember they are not a threat to us sometimes we are the threat for them.
