My mum and dad had one of those telescopes but it never came out of the box.

My husband and I had a huge telescope like this one you drew, and one of my kids friends accidentally knocked it over and broke it, we cried 😭 it was brand new, we never got another one. Wow, you could really see the moon so clearly, it was fun❣️
What a nice story. Too bad you don't have a telescope now. But we don't have one either:)
