My Entry To @deemarshall -Artstorm Contest #27 Day 1 - Theme Today - Barbie and Ken

Today I decided to enter into @deemarshall's Artstorm contest, i have been meaning to do them for a while but with a few projects i have had going I haven't found the time.
So while my nipper was sleeping i managed to get one done at least. :D

So I decided to draw Barbie and Ken in their car. I used my daughters Barbie set to draw from reference and I got to it.

There is a time limit to draw these in so I had to again out myself under pressure and really get the old rist action going so its a little messy but I loved drawing this.

this is my drawing in steps :D

I always start by drawing lines to approximate where to go next this is how i can judge where things are going to go

I hard line my work and rubbed out the lighter lines to give a clear image.

Looking at the time I had to get the colouring in done so I really went for it

Then I stopped at 15 minutes with this final image.

And this is what i am entering into artstorm today.
