Artstorm Contest Entry --- In The City-- Silly Simon Original Cartoon. Digital
Hiya friends.
Today I had a bit of free time and it has been a while since I have entered any contests. one contest I do like to be apart of is @deemarshall artstorm contests.
They are really fun and there is something different everyday, anyone can enter and you can win 0.250 for entering your artstorm post.
Todays artstorm contest is called in the city.
I enjoyed working on this as I was able to add Silly Simon into the contest and I do like to use him as much as I can when it is called for.
When I think of in the city I always think of been a kid in sheffield watching fireworks going off while eating a hotdog, I know we are not close to bonfire night but it is a good memory and I wanted to incorporate that into my art work.

Lol, I do try, he was a cartoon that me and a friend came up with when we were 8 years old. it has change a little since then.
the nose has gotten bigger and he has grown red hair.
me and my friend used to be big fans of dennis the menace which played a big part of our lives growing up.
we had to make something for our school news letter and we had a challenge.

Dennis the menace and knasher was the best of my early years. i really loves getting the beano every thursday and sitting down for an hour and reading what they trouble they got into. I had houndrads of them in a box in my mums loft. till she decided to bin them. I was gutted, not because they are worth a lot now but because it was memories.

Oh darn.. that's really sad. I would have been gutted too. I think I still have one or two Beanos - the hard cover types. Brings back loads of happy memories :) Maybe some of yours are still hidden somewhere perhaps? Hope you can find some back. Even one or two will be a happy memory.
no they are all gone, there was only one big box and that isn't there anymore. so a little gutted.
