Fall Bare Tree Card

Well, it's September and hopefully fall is right around the corner. I wanted to get in the mood for fall so I used one of the trees from the Naked Trees digital stamps from Stamprints to create this card for the design team.

I really love the simplicity of the bare tree. I printed the image on beige cardstock and cut it out using a stitched rectangle die. I decided to use a paint swish from MFT Abstract Art set in 3 colors over the bare tree. I used SU Barely Banana, SU Marigold Morning and SU Really Rust going from lightest to darkest top to bottom. I found ribbon that matched Marigold Morning so I used in to align with the center color swish. I decided to make it a Miss You card so I used an older SU stamp from my collection. I layered the image on an orange rectangle before adhering it to the cardbase. I used Polka Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the yellow cardstock for the background. I finished the off with some orange sequins.

I really love using digital images because you can print them in the size that fits your needs and you never have to worry about stamping mishaps or smeared images.
