Who did I draw?

She was born on February 20, 1988 in the city of St. Michael, Barbados. She is the eldest child of Monica Braithwaite, a retired accountant of Afro-Gayan descent, and Ronald Fenty, a warehouse inspector at a clothing factory. Her mother is a native of Guyana, and her father has Barbados and Irish roots. She has two younger brothers, however, there are two sisters and another brother from her father, who were born from different mothers before the wedding of the parents. She grew up influenced by reggae music and began singing at the age of seven. Her childhood was hurt by her father's addiction to crack cocaine, alcohol and marijuana, her parents divorced when she was 14, although her father remained part of her life.
