Anyone thinking to play Artifact

Well as some of you know , Artifact is the new card game created by Valve based on Warcraft 3 Lore and basicly you can call it a Dota card game. I was waiting this one since the announcement date however I see people tearing it apart even before release

Due to P2P factors and 20 dollar game fee this game is already started to get much hate from the gaming communities , I guess gaming forums might be a little toxic so I decided to buy it and try and I'm waiting for the release.

So the thing that bothers players is the thing that if you wan't to enter some tournament style thing you need to pay up all the time and since there is no ingame currency to protect card value on Steam Market it will be only training mode if you don't pay up

Constructed

Phantom Draft

Keeper Draft

Constructed is where you create a deck from your existing collection, register that deck and queue for gauntlet matches. It costs 1 event ticket to enter and the prizes for Constructed expert gauntlet are as follows:

3 wins: 1 event ticket

4 wins: 1 event ticket + 1 Pack

5 wins: 1 event ticket + 2 packs

Phantom Draft costs 1 event ticket to enter. You draft from 5 packs, and you don't get to keep the cards. For more information on how drafting works, you may watch the following video:

The prizes for Phantom Draft expert gauntlet are as follows:

3 wins: 1 event ticket

4 wins: 1 event ticket + 1 Pack

5 wins: 1 event ticket + 2 packs

Keeper Draft is the same as Phantom Draft, except you also keep the cards you picked. The cost for Keeper Draft is 2 tickets and 5 booster packs (which you will draft from).

The prizes for Keeper Draft expert gauntlet are as follows:

3 wins: 2 event ticket + 1 pack

4 wins: 2 event ticket + 2 packs

5 wins: 2 event ticket + 3 packs

So as you may notice there is no infinite farming and there will be always 2 loss police chasing you during this matches if you think you are really good you will farm a lot of cards however you will eventually lose 3 games and lose your ticket in that case you need to buy a new one that is why there aren't any infinite farming method and thats what getting all the hate ? What do you guys think will you play it ?

Will you ? Will You ?

I like the idea and at first I was advocating that Valve chooses just a different approach. As time goes by, I see how this different approach might be totally work.

Cancellation of daily quests and such tools to ethrall and force them to come daily is good; Keeping total deck price down is also good. But charging 15% fee on every card transaction, not allowing exchange of cards for other cards and some other practises are just not right.

Although, real experts are working on the game, I don't think the new mechanics will be successful. High-reward tournaments may keep the game alive. That's for certain. But Valve will probably have to sponsor the game for staying alive.

I will wait to see first dozens of reviews on Steam Community. If they are positive or negative. Then, I will decide whether to buy or not. Game mechanics seem good and new. Its just trading and all bussiness around.

To be honest I just bought the game for high reward tournements and Valve is not cheap when it comes to tournaments :D

Why would you play this game when you've got Steem Monster, a game build for a community that loves blockchain at once? I will stick with SM and hopefully it will grow listening the community.

I didn't like Steemmonster gameplay maybe I play it when it evolves more you just click battle
