DRAWING WITH A TWIST #2: "Samu and Drago"

Good day Steemians! Here is my entry for Drawing With a Twist hosted by @jacinta.sevilla...

I am very sorry I almost forget to capture the progress of the drawing, (too excited for it hahaha) but before totally forgotten I was able to save some of them.

Of course drafting the lines as shown is what I did.

I did shadings to the dragon and again drafted the lower part of the samurai and its swords.

Shaded the handle part of the sword to precise its details.

Then, I completed all the shadings of the dragon and all of its details.

Almost done here.

Lastly, I put some background shadows to look more realistic. And that's all, thank you for dropping by.

                Wow lovely!
                With just mongol writing pencil ah
                You managed to make it look impressive.
                More contrast would go well with this. Perhaps using a darker pencil with a 6b grade would be perfect for gradations.
                But all in all its awesome.

                      This is really good! I couldn't do a realistic dragon for this contest so just stuck to a cartoon version. I'm envious of your shading skills! And that hat! I love it. You're very creative. Best of luck in the contest. :D
