How to draw a realistic hair using graphite pencil.

I just want to share my artwork using graphite pencil, Drawing a realistic portrait is not easy we spend many hours to finish it.

I will share you some tips.

Materials: 8b pencil, 2b mechanical pencil, ballpen without ink and vellum board.

I used 2b mechanical pencil for sketching.

I used ballpen without ink to create a white line on the paper. This technique is called indenting technique

I used 8b pencil and flat brush for shading.

I used kneaded eraser for the highlights.

I used kneaded eraser and 2b mechanical pencil for detailing.

I used 8b powder for the dark part.
