_{The volunteers and the children}

It was a very amazing and humbling experience for us and all the other volunteers! A number of different individuals, who are not all related, came together to make this possible. Our plans were executed into reality and it was a success!

It has been a few months since we've raised funds for our first co-sponsored workshop in Davao, but we did it again. This time, we collaborated with Creative Street headed by @aalagenesis, as well as with @steemph and other individuals from different organizations (art-related or not) and pulled it off.

"Art is love. Through art we love."

I am sure that through this art workshop, we've given these kids something to remember, and maybe look forward to. It's an honor to be able to help out like this and support these less fortunate children, and give smiles to their lips. We wish to fuel more projects like this, with the help of Steemians like you, I'm sure with your golden hearts, it's not impossible.

The Volunteers

To the 16 volunteers who helped make this event happen, including 4 Steemians namely @aalagenesis, @deveerei, @haneun, & @immarojas, we salute you all for your hardwork and dedication to give back through this art workshop.

Most of them were in the venue around noon and the workshop lasted till almost 6 in the evening.

The volunteers were responsible for gathering funds and materials to be used, planning for the itenerary and venue, teaching art to children, giving away food and art materials, and a lot more!

After a tiring day, the volunteers gathered everyone's opinion and experience to help improve upcoming workshops like this one. They have decided to host something like this either every month or every other month and @artguildph has pledged to be with them all the way, not just in raising funds and attending the workshops but to help make other people aware of the condition of our less fortunate kababayans (fellowmen) living in the streets.

We had the opportunity to take group photos before going home but we're missing some volunteers since they've left the venue early.

To everyone who made this possible! We thank you again for your kindness. Hoping for you guys to continue support this project and help us gather more so we can give back even more!

@artguildph is currently raising funds for the next workshop which could be help before June ends, somewhere in Tagaytay, there are no final dates and details yet but everything is being discussed within the group. It's amazing how these acts of kindness just ripples all throughout and spreads like fire. We're already discussing things with leads from @steemph, @steemph.manila, as well as other groups in and out of Steemit to get more support for this ongoing charity project. We appreciate @aalagenesis for spearheading this project!
