ART EXPLOSION WEEK 28: Theme MELANCHOLY: The man and the butterflies.

Hello to all, this is my entry for the art explosion contest #28 sponsored by @juliakponsford and the theme this week is Melancholy so for my entry i decided to make a draw and a poem, both complement each other and tell a personal story about sadness and melancholy.

The draw

For this draw i first use an H pencil to made the basic scketch and at the end i re-draw everything with an ink pencil.

Last night i dreamed with you, in my dream you were wearing that butterfly dress you like, you had always loved the butterflies i remember...
We are in love, holding our hands and smile each other, and i, for a moment i belived, i belive its real, even when i woke up alone in the cold morning i belived that we were still together, but then the reallity hits me and i realize that you left a long ago, leaving me with a big empty hole in my chest.
Sometimes i dream with butterflies, they appear suddenly to remind me that they have not died yet
