It turns out I love contests! Here is my submission for Art Explosion's surreal challenge
I get so much motivation and ideas proliferate whith these Steemit contests. It is fun to see the other contestants work and I always fall into a wonderful "art hole" visiting other artists pages. This place has so much art of all kinds I love it!
This is a digital media piece I made with my trusty art app Artflow. This app allows me to paint and draw pretty traditionally with my fingers blending, and I have come to love it. I just downloaded the app right when I became active on Steemit about two months ago. 
For the past four years I have found it hard to consistantly make traditional paintings drawings being the mother of a wonderful four year old, but this app has changed all of that. 
Hope you enjoy this piece, which I havent named yet but already love.

She has a sister piece that is dark and in space that I will be posting in a few days on my page when I get to a stopping point.
