Art Explosion Week 46 - Masks / Warrior Masks / Contest hosted @juliakponsford

Here is my entry for "Masks "Contest kindly hosted @juliakponsford. So appreciate the opportunity to enter my designs!

My second picture is the end result of the process.

First started the art on sketchpad and then took it ipiccy for the editing.

The collage is an amalgamation of all the masks and the various looks.

Like the art on a drop shadow background ..seems to accentuate the art in more of a subtle way, compared to the bold black and red frame, which creates an impact.

Used the tone curve tool to get these colours that you see in reds and yellows.

Added some effects on the background to create a more rough plaster look and also some lighting effects to add a mysterious appeal.

The masks have rather a frightening design but that was for the " Warrior Masks" effect..to scare away the enemy, so to speak!!
