The Monster Family, was an American comedy produced in the 1960s, which shows the homelike life of a family of benign monsters and their great mischief, starring Fred Gwynne as Herman Munster, monster head of the Frankenstein type, with an impressive a corpulent stature that frightened everyone who saw him, but internally he was an innocent and very sentimental character, incapable of hurting even a fly.

Herman Munster was married to Lily Munster, a vampire who loves her husband Herman a lot, considers herself an American housewife with a lot of dedication to her family, has a vampire father who is a mad scientist, a small son named Eddie and He is a werewolf and a niece named Marilyn who is the most normal in the group.

This series was a great success worldwide obtaining the first places of tuning in many countries, becoming an icon that identifies the 60s, its comedy plot was enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Despite being a great success of television, the series was canceled at the end of the year 1966, due to a disagreement between the producers, but as the years have passed it is still broadcasting in many countries now becoming a series TV cult for many fans.
