Nunca me he considerado realmente bueno para trabajar con lápices de colores, aunque desde hace poco comencé a practicar mas a menudo, me cuesta bastante encontrar el equilibrio del color y lograr buenos contrastes, esta es mi segunda obra usando lápices de colores, si bien no quedó como yo quería, me parece que es un buen avance, espero lograr mejores resultados en mis siguientes obras.
I have never considered myself really good at working with crayons, although recently I started practicing more often, I find it hard to find the balance of color and achieve good contrasts, this is my second work using colored pencils, although it was not as I wanted, I think it is a good progress, I hope to achieve better results in my next works.

Para esta obra usé lápices de colores de marca Prismacolor, principalmente una gamma cálida que varía desde el Rojo Vermillon hasta el Amarillo Canario, usando para las sombras el color Negro y el Café oscuro, los primeros trazos de color luego del boceto inicial los marqué en la parte superior derecha, en la zona de iluminación roja del cabello, usando trazos largos y delgados, acentuando bastante el color rojo para dar la impresión de una iluminación tenue.
For this work I used Prismacolor brand pencils, mainly a warm gamma that varies from the Vermillon Red to the Canary Yellow, using for the shades the color Black and the dark Coffee, the first strokes of color after the initial sketch I marked them in the upper right, in the area of red lighting of the hair, using long and thin strokes, accentuating enough the red color to give the impression of a dim lighting.
La sombra que se aprecia entre el cabello y el pecho la pinté totalmente de negro y la extendí hasta la parte inferior donde termina el cabello, hacia la parte derecha de esta zona, se ubica el cabello iluminado de rojo, y hacia el lado izquierdo en la parte superior, la piel.
The shadow that is seen between the hair and the chest I painted it totally black and I extended it to the lower part where the hair ends, towards the right part of this area, the hair is placed illuminated in red, and towards the left side in the upper part, the skin.
La piel fue un poco complicada de pintar, de manera muy tenue le di poco a poco el color en varias zonas de la cara dejando en blanco las parte donde se apreciaba la iluminación directa, además comencé a pintar la parte izquierda del cabello de un color amarillo, siempre llevando trazos largos y delgados, además acompañados de algunas lineas café oscuro para darle textura.
The skin was a bit complicated to paint, very slowly I gave the color little by little in several areas of the face leaving blank where the direct lighting was appreciated, also I began to paint the left part of the hair a color yellow, always wearing long and thin strokes, also accompanied by some dark brown lines to give texture.
