My Entry for aksinya's contest ARTQUEST-TRAIL#10 (ARTchallenge)

As part of it, one painting of well known artist is given and you need to write down your interpretation. Contest Link
[ NOTE : Birds on the upper-left side represent the freedom, peace, happiness and joy of life. The man rolling the wheel represent the effort he put into to achieve those things. In this interpretation i assume that position of the birds and rain is same irrespective of motion of the wheel. ]
Normally, We think that if we study then our life will settle but after study we do not get job, when we get job then we will find that money is not sufficient, When we get enough money then we will found the work is not satisfactory. When we get appropriate work, after that we found that we still not fulfilled. In this art work artist represent this idea as MAN try to catch birds (get freedom, peace, happiness and joy of life) by turning the wheel. But the fact is that birds are not attached to the wheel. So no matter how hard he make effort, he will not going to achieve that. Artist also indicated that birds (freedom, peace, happiness and joy of life) are not attached to wheel. it means they are independent from what we achieve externally.
If we change the direction perpendicular to the motion of the wheel, we found it. (As direction of the birds are also perpendicular to wheel). So no matter what condition we are in, if we want then we will definitely get those things within our self. It is always there, it just need appropriate perspective (direction).

As life goes by, we experience variety of situation, some of them are very pleasant and favorable like birds in the painting. On the other hand few of them are like nightmare and full of struggle. This painting suggest that neither happiness nor misery is permanent. As wheel of time passes, we experience various state in our life. The only thing is that we need not to forget about hope like trees. If we keep on moving life will definitely give us freedom one day.
