Conor McGregor V Superman

I had been wanting to re-make the classic Superman V Ali comic book cover from the 1970’s

It is one of my favorite pieces of comic art.

But the inspiration never came until the hype started around the McGregor / Mayweather Fight.

As we all know - Conor eventually lost the contest. The funny thing is - even after the loss - EVERYBODY who loved McGregor still loved McGregor - and everyone who hated Mayweather (pretty much everybody) still hated Mayweather.

This is not always the case. Historically - a loss like this in such a publicized contest means the ruination of the plucky individual (see Ronda Rousey).

I think I picked the right athlete to put in my cover.
