An original painting from 2012 named Deviana Daudsyah Trio Jakarta - Acrylic on canvas - color corrected full version - from the series Artists and Bands, a small series of paintings featuring some of my artist friends from Indonesia, Europe and USA.

This painting depicts three internationally renowned Jazz artists before their performances at Java Jazz Festival and the Erasmus Huis at the Dutch Embassy in Jakarta in 2012 - Tjut Nyak Deviana Daudsyah - the Grand Dame of Indonesian Jazz on piano, the amazing Karoline Hoefler from Germany on double bass and the brush & stick master Beatrice Graf from Switzerland on drums. (Painting gifted to Institut Musik Daya Indonesia, my old school, which was founded and is still run by Deviana).
