Buddha Eyes Art!

Hi Guys! I may not have done proper justice to the buddha eyes but I like how the artwork came out. I was looking for what to do on the watercolour background I made yesterday and thought buddha eyes will justify it. This image of eyes is seen in Stupas, Shrines of Buddhist Religion all over the countries like Nepal, India, Thailand, Burma, China and wherever the stupas are erected. It is believed that the Buddha eyes can see everything and it also means that if we are wise we can see beyond materialistic things which is the truth. So be wise and check out the artwork I did :)

I made the background with watercolours, gel pens for black, blue and red of the eyes. Initially I used white gel pen for the white of the eyes but they didn't stand out so ended up using poster white. I used a gold gel pen for the tika part with some white.
