Sacred Geometry -My First Drawing Of Shri Yantra (photographs and animated gif)
Namasté,
when I visited India I was very impressed by the beautiful fractal artwork I saw. Today I wanted to draw one Yanta because of the meditative power of this geometric diagrams.
This was my first try... I did not really get in to a meditative state here... I was too impatient and confused -so I failed again and again when I wanted to draw the triangles.
After some more hours of drawing I got this result . Not perfect but not to bad too... Time for some colours!
You can see that Shri Yantra has 9 triangles. The five that show upwards symbolize Shiva consciousness. The triangles showing downwards symbolize Shakti, the great mother. The dot in the middle is more than the point where I stick in the compass but it is called Bindu and represents the origin of everything and the place where all will return.
You can find a lot of information about the benefits you get if you worship this Yantra -for example inner peace and wealth. Contemplated from the centre point the diagram represents the evolution of the universe.
I will meditate on my drawing next days... If I will find the solution to the mystery of life I will let you know.
I found the Mantra on youtube... Good for meditation. Maybe you also have a try?
Lots of Light and Love <3
This gif is hypnotising, catching my eyes forever.
Hihi, not forever :D You made it to write a comment :D Or you have it on your TV screen now? lol
At least I had a hard time continuing scrolling down. It took a while :D
It is so cool that it seems to spin in different directions depending on the point you are focusing on :)
You reached a glitch in the matrix ;D
Jejeje :D
Great job! Shri Yantra is quite hypnotic and beautiful like a fractal :)
