Seriously, our lives have become too dependent on plastic items and that's why it's getting near impossible to get rid of it. It requires tremendous effort on our part to get rid of it.

It reminds me of my friend who had taken a vow to not to buy any plastic for one year. And it was so difficult for her to find an alternative for every item. Once she took a lot of time to arrive at a decision to buy a metal bucket when her plastic bucket needed replacement ....we can't even imagine lifting that heavy metal bucket these days!

Unfortunately, for over a hundred years of its existence, not even an iota of plastic could be decomposed ...and it will be like that for thousands of years!

Although your post highlights the beauty of plastic, I can read between the lines of its ubiquitous presence in our lives and impossibility of banning it.

Kudos to your efforts to take and present a picture of all these plastic items that are used in our homes.
