The Witch Mounds art and finished cover - Advanced Adventures Art
Here's another Advanced Adventures piece I did. Joseph Browning at Expeditious Retreat Press publishes a line of top quality old school role playing adventures that harken back to the halcyon days of the hobby. However, that doesn't mean they are not fun to play for today's audience. Old School gaming was fraught with peril. There were no guarantees on success or survival and retreat was always a viable option. Thought the glory was real when you used your cunning and skill to win the day! It is a decidedly different approach to most modern RPGs and if you haven't tried it, I highly encourage you to try it out. Here's a look at the finished cover that definitely is an homage to the classic games of yore:

Thank you! I've been part of the old school roleplaying renaissance for the past 11 years or so. So not quite at the very beginning but pretty close. I've been thrilled to get to participate by way of doing artwork for several different projects. It is literally the fulfilment of a childhood dream. And I'm still doing it!
